Vaneeza Ahmed, a.k.a. Vinny, was born in Lahore, Pakistan in 1971. She is one of Pakistan’s best-known celebrities. She is also an extremely successful actress and model. Ahmad had no real plans to get into modelling as a career option. She was shocked to be offered dozens of jobs, including some from some big names in the Pakistani fashion industry. Her looks, elegance and brains soon made her a top model. She also launched her own fashion brand, which is now very popular among Pakistani women.
Her career in fashion led her into acting. She has starred in many different television serials. Her biggest role was in ‘Jinnah’, playing the daughter of Pakistan’s founding father Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Vaneeza said of acting: “I could lie about it and say I’m in this field for the love of art. But I admit that I’m doing it for money.”
